Can you spare a couple of hours each month to help us ?

We are always looking for volunteers for our charity.  You can volunteer without becoming a member. Apart from helping us, it can also help you to make new friends (particularly if you are new to the Tiverton area).  It will familiarise you with the hospital and the work that goes on there and can be very rewarding.  We depend very highly on the dedicated commitment of our volunteers.

The Tiverton Hospital League of Friends carries out a ward trolley service for the benefit of all patients, staff and visitors, at 10.00 a.m. daily, weekends included.  In addition we offer a shop service from 10.00a.m. until noon each weekday, and from 2.00p.m. – 4.00p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons only.  To ensure this service continues we need volunteers who can give two hours of their time each month to cover one of these sessions.
